We are a network of friends and volunteers in Faribault County, Minnesota. Our goal is to help seniors remain in their own homes for as long as possible. Our caring volunteers provide transportation, friendly visiting, telephone re-assurance, and help with light cleaning and chores.
We also provide educational workshops, and individual consultations to help you identify and find solutions to obstacles which make staying independent difficult. All of our services are supported by voluntary contributions.
If you take care of a senior who lives with you or in their own home or apartment, your care is indispensable to their ability to remain independent.
But who takes care of you? We do!
Our respite volunteers can stay with your loved one while you take a break. Our staff and trained volunteer-support-caregivers can help you find resources, overcome challenges, and thrive in your role as a caregiver. In addition, our workshops and monthly support groups can help you manage the caregiver burden, link with other caregivers, and find the help and encouragement you need.
